Burberry plans to go plastic-free by 2025

Burberry is planning to eliminate all the plastic in their packaging by 2025. According to WWD, the brand wants to replace all hangers, shrouds, and poly bags for eco-friendly ones by the end of the year. They will also launch a hanger take-back program, so discarded retail hangers can be recycled and reused. The brand’s main goal is to become carbon neutral, re-value waist and positively impact people.

Gucci will show their new collection in a museum
Gucci Cruise collection (which is the same as a resort collection) will be shown at the Capitoline Museums, in Rome. According to the brand, the choice comes as a reminiscence of Alessandro Michele’s childhood and his interest for “the Old World.”

Farm Rio is now available in the United States

Brazilian retailer Farm Rio launched their American website this week (farmrio.com), where you can find their colorful clothes. The carioca brand was already available in other American retailers, but now they are opening their own store, both digitally and physically. Farm plans to open a store on 113 Prince Street, in SoHo, on April 25. They also plan to open stores in Los Angeles and Miami later this year.
MAC X Aladdin
MAC Cosmetics announced a limited-edition Aladdin collection. Inspired by the self-determination and confidence of Jasmine, the collection includes jewel toned eyeshadows, a lipstick and a bronzer, according to the brand’s main Instagram account. The products will be available for purchase in May.
