Beauty Reviews: Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation

I love makeup. I love buying, reading, wearing it. It makes me feel ready for the day, and it instantly lifts my mood. So, I don’t know why it took me so long to start writing reviews about the products I’ve been wearing.

Today I decided to talk about the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation, which I bought months ago when I traveled to Miami. Since then it became my go to foundation for when I need more coverage, because it really is full coverage.

My color on this foundation is 00A – Porcelain which, according is not the lightest color. Milani makes 45 colors of it, and all of them have options for different skin undertone. Even though the color that I have works really well with my skin, I would love to try the other two lightest colors in the range: Alabaster and Cream.

Another thing that I loved about this foundation is that I doesn’t oxidize much. I have very pale skin, so when a skin product oxidizes or don’t match my skin color it can be very obvious.

But, as it is with every product, the 2-in-1 foundation isn’t perfect. But, to be honest, I don’t mind it.

I have a few lines under my eye because I am a person that laughs a lot (or have a resting annoyed face). The foundation marked a little bit on these areas and on the lid, specially when I wore it as a concealer. On the lid I don’t mind because I usually put eyeshadow over it. But on the under eye it is a little bit trickier to hide, so I prefer to not wear it as a concealer. But that’s the only reason, because it works well for both functions.

I also have a very naturally oily nose. My skin is not oily, except on my nose. So most skin products usually come out in this area of my face as the day go by. The Milani foundation wasn’t any different, except that, after 9 hours of wearing it, the product started to accumulate where my prescription glasses usually sits.

Another thing that I learned by accident about this foundation is that it is a good idea to apply moisturizer, sunscreen or primer before. Because the formula is very thick and dry, it is a little bit difficult to blend it without applying anything to the skin before. It can also mark the fine lines in the skin.

The Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation is a great product. What I love the most about it is how it looks on my skin and the fact that it is affordable and has a big shade range.
