The Courrèges Spring 2022 collection captured the zeitgeist of the moment. For his second collection as creative director, Nicolas di Felice’s gathered inspiration from archival pieces of the 1960s and 1970s. The idea of a space-age outdoor music festival was also a factor in the design.
Most of the pieces were in either black or white, but the collection also featured pops of color. Canary yellow, pastel pink, bright blue and silver. Besides the color history, the silhouettes were also beautiful (and practical). The outfit lineup started with rainwear-appropriate capes, followed by coats, mini dresses and skirt, crop tops, midi dresses…
One of the best pieces of this collection was the long V-neck white vest, which was paired with silver pants. The mini black dress is another exceptionally flattering piece, and it is also super versatile. The same goes for the ribbed-knit pants.
